We work together but all team members have their own sphere of influence, and you will always find a sympathetic ear should you have any special wishes or requests.
Your hostess
A third generation member of the family, Heike is now responsible for running the Sonnenburg. As always, her policy is one of friendliness, charm and a direct personal approach. Heike and her team at the Sonnenburg adhere to this philosophy on a daily basis, with the aim of making your stay at the Sonnenburg something really special. Heike is always motivated and outgoing, and extends a sympathetic ear not only to her guests but also to her team members. This is patently obvious from their sociable coffee breaks, the enjoyable staff excursions and the mutual friendly co-operation.
And the next generation is already waiting in the wings. Katharina, Jodok and Paul support their mum Heike and the Sonnenburg team wholeheartedly, contributing new ideas, knowledge and their full commitment. Sports-mad, nature loving and creative, each member of the family has something of their own to contribute.

A SINCERE WELCOME
Solid as rock and always there when needed: that’s Bettina and the reception team. Most of the time they can be found at the reception, but they also appear where they are most needed. They will grant your special requests and make the Sonnenburg a real home-from-home for the duration of your holiday. Since they never tire of discovering more of the Kleinwalsertal for themselves, you can rely on some great suggestions for your holiday leisure time.
As nimble as a fox
Nimble as foxes and attentive without being intrusive: restaurant manager Lisa and her team welcome you to the restaurant, the centre of the Sonnenburg. First thing in the morning their smiling faces are there to welcome you with coffee. In the evening they will not only come up with the perfect wine suggestions, but are also always ready for a chat.
The heroes of the kitchen
Under the capable leadership of Max Nikolic, members of the Sonnenburg kitchen team are able to enjoy their creative freedom, producing traditional dishes with a good pinch of international flair. Naturally produced from the best ingredients, where possible sourced locally or even from our own garden, this distinctive cuisine ensures that our guests can enjoy the ultimate gastronomical experience.
METICULOUSLY CLEAN
Quiet as mice and almost unnoticed, each day Zaklina and her team are there working hard throughout the length and breadth of the hotel, conscientiously and lovingly ensuring that everything is in perfect order. So that we can all feel at home and well cared for.
